RBS Current Account Switch Deal – £175 Free and 2% back on your bills

  • RBS (and Natwest) are giving £175 to those who switch and stay with them and are new customers.
  • You'll also be able to get 2% cashback on your bill payments with some accounts.
  • This offer applies to their Everyday bank account (free) and Reward bank accounts (paid).
  • There are three different Reward Current Accounts that offer 2% back in rewards as well as various other incentives. Fees vary from £2 per month to £20 per month depending on the account you choose.
  • You’ll also have to deposit at least £1,500 into your new account and access their digital or mobile bank by 2nd August 2019.
  • Once you meet the criteria, you’ll have your £150 deposited into your account and £50 extra if you're still with the bank by June 2020.
  • If you’ve previously used an RBS or NatWest switching offer (since October 2017) you’ll not be eligible.

How long does this deal last?

To be eligible, you must switch, pay in £1,500+ and sign in to your account online by 2nd August 2019.

Is the RBS Current Account switch deal for me?

If you want options with your current account this represents good value. You can choose from a free account or a paid reward account, which can over offer 2% cashback on certain rewards, as well as free insurance and other discounts. If you can deposit at least £1500 into the account, there are few incentives as good as this one.
