A free £150 gift card with Virgin Experience Days when you switch to Virgin Money

Switch to a Virgin Money M Plus Account using the Current Account Switching Service, and if you meet the qualifying criteria you'll get a £150 gift card to spend with Virgin Experience Days – perfect for a weekend break, a spa break, a driving day or anything else they offer.

While the gift card does limit your options compared to the straight cash offer from other banks, £150 is the highest amount offered by any bank currently. And, you get a high-interest rate of 2.02% on account balances up to £1,000.

How do I get the deal?

All you need to do is apply on the Virgin Money website for an M Plus Account. Once it's open, use the Current Account Switching Service to switch an existing current account to your new M Plus one, transferring over at least two Direct Debits (or setting up two new ones).

You then need to download and log into the Virgin Money mobile banking app, and pay £1,000 into your linked M Plus Saver account, and leave it in there until you get your gift card sent to you.

Meet these criteria within 45 days of opening the account, and your gift card will be emailed to you within 14 days.

When does the deal end?

Like some other banks, Virgin Money hasn't put an end date on this offer but they have said it can be withdrawn at any time.
