KEXIM Bank operates internationally in 16 countries in Hong Kong, South Asia, the Middle East, South Africa, the United States and Europe.
KEXIM Bank UK is a wholly owned subsidiary of Korea Eximbank founded in 2003 and a member of the Natwest Banking Group. It focuses on retail, corporate and investment banking services and operates across the UK and Europe. There are five branches situated in the UK, with one further branch in Antwerp.
KEXIM Bank Products and Services
For Kexim's corporate lending business, they only lend to large corporates and multi-nationals. Kexim don’t lend to micro-companies or to individuals therefore, in practice, the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) is not relevant to their type of business. KEXIM is regulated by the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Prudential Regulation Authority. Deposits of up to £85,000 are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).
