The company is organised into three primary segments:
Private banking customers have access to a team of international professionals with experience working in both Europe and the Arab world. Customers can choose from current accounts, non-resident mortgage lending (aimed at non-EEA residents), an exclusive VISA Gold debit card, and a commodity-based account for customers who wish to avoid interest (as Sharia compliance dictates). Holders of this account know their funds won’t be used to purchase gold, silver, pork or alcohol; again, in compliance with Sharia principles.
Europe Arab Bank also provides commission-free foreign exchange in Middle Eastern and most other major currencies, and securities dealing with bonds in GBP, Euro or US dollars.
The corporate and institutional banking arm of Europe Arab Bank handles corporate banking, trade finance, including letters of credit, medium and long-term financing, bonds and guarantees and bills of exchange. For financial institutions, Europe Arab Bank offers:
The treasury services arm provides financial products including capital markets, foreign exchange, money markets and derivative markets; solutions are bespoke and designed to manage risk.
In addition, Europe Arab Bank offers a portfolio of off-balance sheet interest rate products to corporate and private banking clients. These include overnight interest rate swaps, interest rate futures, forward rate agreements and interest rate swaps. These services cover G7 and several other major currencies.
In the UK, Europe Arab Bank is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Prudential Regulation Authority.
