Diamond Bank is a Nigerian international bank headquartered in Lagos. The bank also has branches in Benin Republic, Togo, Cote d’Ivoire and Senegal, plus a subsidiary based in the United Kingdom.

Founded in 1991, Diamond Bank became a public limited company (PLC) in 2005 and was listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange shortly after. A few years later, in 2008, Diamond Bank became the first African bank to appear on the Professional Securities market of the London Stock Exchange after the Global Depositary Receipts division was listed.

Diamond Bank is now Nigeria’s fastest-growing retail bank and offers a comprehensive range of products across retail, business and corporate banking.

The retail banking division is aimed at providing everyday banking services to customers, including current accounts, savings, loans and investments. Diamond customers can bank in-branch, online or over the phone. They can also access Diamond Magic Cash, a cardless service that allows them to withdraw cash at an ATM without using their debit card; customers who want to use this service can register in branch or on the phone.

Diamond Bank also has a strong corporate banking division that works with more than 150,000 clients from microenterprises to large corporations. The bank has several lending options available to these corporate clients, including revolving credit, Mediloan QualityCare, instalment loans, contract finance, LPO finance and import finance. Loans can be taken out as a revolving overdraft facility or as a term loan, dependent on the customer’s needs and requirements
