CAF Bank Products and Services
CAF Bank offers customers a choice of current account and instant access savings account.
The CAF Cash current account is designed to meet the everyday banking needs of charity and non-profit customers. It is designed specifically with these types of organisations in mind. Customers can manage their transactions either online or on the phone, or in-branch at one of their banking partners.
A CAF Instant Access Savings Account allows charities to earn interest on savings, while still having access to their money whenever they need it. Interest can be paid either into their CAF account or into any other nominated UK account. Customers opening an Instant Access Savings Account can begin saving with a deposit of just £1,000.
All customers of CAF Bank are always able to access expert support from the bank’s UK-based customer service teams. Accounts can be opened online.

We are a CAF Bank customer (church) and we regularly pay our Sunday collections into our account via HSBC. We had a branch of HSBC in our town up until June. We now use a branch in a neighbouring town however that branch is moving to become a digital branch in October. My question is therefore where can we pay our money in after then? We normally have a mixture of cash and cheques to pay in. — Paul Einchcomb
CAF Bank Reviews
“This bank could do with an upgrade. Payments are very slow to process”
This bank could do with an upgrade. Payments are very slow to process. Everything online is clunky. Sending money overseas is ludicrous, it involves downloading a 6 page form, printing it, getting it signed and countersigned, posting it back to the bank and then waiting a bit longer. It's 2023!
“you get contradictory information when you call. You get instructed to complete lots of paper based archaic governance”
you get contradictory information when you call. You get instructed to complete lots of paper based archaic governance…then someone else tells you its the wrong thing and you don't need to send it in….and then someone else says our account has been blocked for not sending in the thing we told you not to send in. I have had multiple experiences of this…it's a ludicrously poor bank with very high fees
“Customer service is OK sometimes, but not great. They are not good value for money”
Customer service is OK sometimes, but not great. They are not good value for money. In the past I have been upset by the way they corresponded with volunteers in my organisation, customer service could be a lot better. I do trust their security, but the service received has a lot of room for improvement.
