BNY Mellon is one of the three oldest banks in the world, established in 1784 as Bank of New York before merging with Mellon Financial Corporation, founded in 1869, in 2006. The bank now operates in 35 countries across the world in the Americas, Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
