Founded in 1978 as Church House Trust, Bank and Clients PLC is a private bank based in Yeovil. The bank was acquired by Virgin Money in 2010, so they could gain a banking licence and establish a retail banking operation. It was renamed Virgin Bank Ltd. Virgin then sold the bank to Ocean Industries in 2014 and it became Bank and Clients. The investment arm of the bank continues to operate independently under the name Church House Investments.
Bank and Clients Products and Services
Bank and Clients offer personal and corporate clients a full range of banking options, from commercial property investments handled by a specialist team to personal and business savings accounts.
Bank and Clients also offer a portfolio of mortgage options, both residential and commercial. When it comes to mortgage lending, Bank and Clients only work directly with intermediaries and mortgage brokers. This is due to the fact they mostly lend to people or projects that require more underwriting flexibility – they have a team of underwriters on hand to explore the right options for their clients. All mortgages are tailored to fit a specific set of needs.
Business loans are another key part of the Bank and Clients service portfolio; loans can either be provided by the bank itself, or a member of the team can help to arrange financing from another body. Loans are available using a variety of debt structures.
B & C products are suitable for individuals, businesses, SMEs, charities and trusts.
Security at Bank and Clients
Bank and Clients is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and regulated by the PRA and Financial Conduct Authority (FRA). Deposits of up to £85,000 are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
