Access Bank Products & Services
Access offers personal banking customers a number of services designed to make managing their money easier. These include:
- PayWithCapture, which allows instant transfers to phone numbers, money transfers from any card, instant account opening and spending tracking
- PayMe, which allows payments to multiple accounts with a single link
- 901, a way to access mobile banking services without internet
Access has also recently introduced a WhatsApp banking service, designed to offer easy and reliable transactions. Customers do not need to download a new application in order to access the service; it works with their existing WhatsApp application. After adding the banking specific mobile number to their contacts list, customers need only send the word ‘hi’ as a message to activate the service (the message must be sent using the mobile number linked to their account).
Access also offers a full range of in-branch, online and mobile banking services. Corporate clients have access to Primus, a secure electronic platform that provides a comprehensive menu of corporate banking options.

“Truly an awful institution. Truly an awful institution. When my father passed away every single one of the financial institutions I contacted (over 20) was very helpful with the process of providing the information for the Grant of Probate, with the exception of this one, who made the process far more complicated and time consuming than it needed to be. This delayed the Grant of Probate by several months, causing a huge amount of distress to my bereaved mother. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY OF YOUR MONEY. Your relatives will struggle to get it back should you sadly pass away.
Even when it came to closing the accounts the intransigence and lack of any empathy was staggering to behold. Deal with this institution at your peril.
“The absolute worst bank in the world. Resolution to issues are almost nonexistent”
The absolute worst bank in the world. Resolution to issues are almost nonexistent. They mess with your account, card at will. The customer reps are incompetent/unknowledgeable with a lackadaisical attitude towards their job. The app is an absolute mess that running basic tasks requires you calling same incompetent staff to handle simple issues which by the way, would never get resolved but you get an email saying “case closed/resolved” Lol. Coming from a former Diamond bank (lovely bank) user, I’m simply appalled as this is the worse merger in the world.
